Founded in 1910 as a designer of lubrication devices, the company specializes in three key product lines: thermal management solutions, turbocharger solutions, and lubrication and venting products. Gits’ thermal management solutions are designed to comply with the latest emissions standards and contribute to a global emissions-free future.
We serve global on-highway and off-highway OEMs and engine manufacturers, providing thermal management solutions for applications such as diesel, natural gas and hydrogen engines as well as turbocharger control devices. Our lubrication and venting solutions can be found on mobile IBCs, pumps, and gearboxes.
Our product offerings include options and sizing for 3L-60L combustion engine applications as well as fuel cell / electric powertrains:
- Intake Throttle Valves: Control strategies with CAN and PWM, optimizing engine performance.
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valves, including EGR Bypass Valves: Pre- and post-cooler applications with CAN and PWM control. Hot- and Cold-Side Exhaust Recirculation Valves reducing NOx emissions.
- Exhaust Back-Pressure / Engine Braking Valves: Designed for pre- and post-turbo applications, using electrical actuation via CAN and PWM, as well as pneumatic control. Tailor-made for diesel, gas, and hydrogen internal combustion engines.
- Wastegate Valves and Actuation: Turbo control products for light-duty (LD) and heavy-duty (HD) applications.
